Gem Diamonds Ltd - diamond miner in Lesotho and Botswana - Announces the recovery of a 212.49 carat, type-two white diamond at the Letseng mine in Lesotho on May 28. This is the sixth diamond larger than 100 carats recovered there this year. It explains that the Letseng mine "is famous for the production of large, exceptional white diamonds, making it the highest dollar per carat kimberlite diamond mine in the world".
