This Sunday, Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa was re-appointed chairman, for his 13th mandate ahead of FC Porto, with 79% of the votes.

In the voting for the General Meeting, Board and Audit and Disciplinary Committee, there were 21% of voided ballots.

The list for the Senior Board was elected with 74% of the votes, with 26% of voided ballots.

2403 associates voted for these elections, an increase of 91% in comparison to the elections of May, 2013.

As for the number of voided ballots, roughly a quarter of those were considered as such by the General Meeting for containing personal opinions. However, such considerations were mostly of support to the club and the chairman re-elected. According to Fernando Sardoeira Pinto, secretary of the General Meeting, 'the high percentage of voided votes is mitigated by the support shown'.
