Fukuyama Transporting : Cooperation Agreement in Transportation and Operation of Goods in the Event of Disaster with Onojo City, Fukuoka Prefecture

October 4th, 2023 Kyushu Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. (Head office: Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture; President: Hiroaki Hatta), a group company of Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. (Head office: Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture; President: Shigehiro Komaru), concluded a "Cooperation Agreement in Transportation and Operation of Goods in the Event of a Disaster" with Onojo City, Fukuoka Prefecture on October 3. The Mayor of Onojo City, Mr. Muneji Imoto, and the General Manager of Kyushu Okinawa region Koji Hori signed the agreement at Onojo City Hall.
This agreement aims to establish an effective and prompt cooperative system in the event of a disaster and to strengthen disaster response capabilities of transporting relief supplies to evacuation centers, assisting supply base facilities operations, and providing our facilities as an emergency evacuation site.
As a designated public institution, the Fukuyama Transporting Group has been engaged in disaster relief activities by primarily supporting goods transportation. We will continue to contribute to the safety and security of the local community and fulfill its social responsibility as a trucking firm.
