Fuji Co., Ltd. (TSE:8278) and Seinan Kikaku, K.K. conclude a basic agreement to acquire assets of 5 stores of ABC Co., Ltd. and Super Z Co., Ltd on July 7, 2014. Post transaction, Fuji Co., Ltd. will establish a subsidiary Fuji Mart Shikoku Co., Ltd. and merged the acquired business into the company. Seinan Kikaku, K.K. will acquire the real estate of the shops. The business transfer contract is expected to be signed in late August 2014.
