Maui Capital Limited has put its Freshmax Pty Ltd. on the block, seeking a deal which could value the company at about $500 million. Street Talk understands Maui has investment bank Goldman Sachs drumming up interest among Australian and Asian trade players, as well as local and offshore private equity firms with a taste for the sector. Interested parties that looked at Costa this time two years ago included Chinese conglomerate Fosun International Limited (SEHK:656), Driscoll & Associates, Inc., Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and a host of private equity firms, as we reported at the time.
