Flexible Solutions International, Inc. : FSI Announces a Decrease in Fourth Quarter, and Full Year 2013 Revenue

FLEXIBLE SOLUTIONS INTERNATIONAL, INC. (AMEX: FSI, FRANKFURT: FXT), is the developer and manufacturer of biodegradable polymers for oil extraction, detergent ingredients and water treatment as well as crop nutrient availability chemistry. Flexible Solutions also manufactures biodegradable and environmentally safe water and energy conservation technologies. Today the Company announces a year over year decrease in revenues for fourth quarter (Q4), 2013.

Sales were lower in Q4, 2013 than in Q4, 2012. Flexible Solutions' top line revenue decreased from $3.8 million (Q4, '12) to $3.4 million (Q4, '13), down 11% year over year. Full year 2013 revenue stands at $15.8 million compared to $16.4 million for 2012 or down approximately 4% year over year.

The large customer who reduced uptake in Q3 did so for part of Q4. Sales to this customer have returned to normal.
