First Prudential Modaraba is a Pakistan-based company, which is a multipurpose, perpetual, and multi-dimensional Modaraba. The objectives of the Modaraba inter-alia include participating in Musharika, Morahaba and providing financial assistance for working capital needs, Ijaraha of all types of assets with special emphasis on vehicle and industrial machinery, including securitization of lease portfolios of leasing companies and commercial activities including syndication and leveraged leasing, underwriting of public issue of shares. The Company’s subsidiary is Awwal Modaraba Management Limited (AMML). The Company offers products, such as Ijarah, Musharika, Ijarah, Salam, and Istisna. Ijarah is an Islamic alternative to leasing and refers to the transfer of benefits. Salam is a short-term agreement in which a financial institution makes full prepayments for future delivery of a specified quantity of goods on a specified date.
