Figeac Aéro announced on Wednesday that it had signed a new agreement with KNDS, a Franco-German group specializing in land defense, for a total value of several tens of millions of euros.

Unveiled at Eurosatory, the new agreement is a rider to a contract signed in 2020 for parts destined for armored vehicle programs.

It is expected to generate average additional sales of around one million euros compared with March 2023 levels.

As a reminder, Figeac's new strategic plan, dubbed 'Pilot 28', calls for the development of new business mainly in civil aeronautics, but also in the defense and industrialization services segments.

The KNDS group was formed in 2015 from the merger of Germany's KMW and France's Nexter, forming the European leader in land defense with a workforce of over 9,500 and annual sales of 3.3 billion euros.

KNDS' portfolio includes battle tanks, armored vehicles, artillery systems, equipment and ammunition, as well as associated support and training services.
