Fiera Milano : Amendment to corporate calendar - Update relating to Legal Administration provision

FIERA MILANO: AMENDMENT TO CORPORATE CALENDAR UPDATE RELATING TO LEGAL ADMINISTRATION PROVISIONS Milan, 24 January 2017. Fiera Milano announces that the Board of Directors Meeting, concluded today, agreed, as a partial amendment to the corporate events calendar for 2017 made publicly available on 22 December 2016, that the meeting of the Board of Directors to approve the Preliminary Parent and Consolidated Financial Statements to 31 December 2016, initially set for 13 March 2017 will now take place on 10 March 2017.

The amendment to the corporate calendar was necessitated to guarantee compliance with the terms governing convocation of the Shareholders' Meeting to appoint the corporate bodies on a list voting system, pursuant to article 125-bis, paragraph 2, of Decree Law 58/98. The next Shareholders' Meeting which is set for 21 April 2017 will be called to approve the financial statements to 31 December 2016, and may, however, proceed to appoint the new administrative body, as a consequence of the resignations submitted by the Directors on 13 January 2017 (as stated in the previous press release).

With reference to the provisions of the ongoing legal administration relating to the subsidiary, Nolostand S.p.A. and the business division of the Parent Company Fiera Milano S.p.A. regarding the so-called stand fitting business, the Company states that, at the outcome of the 17 January 2017, the Tribunal of Milan - Autonomous Preventative Measures Section, at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office for an extension of the legal administration to all of the Company's divisions, allowed the Company's defence counsel an extension until the 26 January 2017 to examine the information disseminated by the Legal Administration during the hearing of 17 January last. The decision, having been communicated by the Chairman of the Autonomous Preventative Measures Section, is expected in the days immediately following the next hearing.
