Farmatsiya OAO (Pharmacia OJSC) is a Russia-based company primarily involved in the pharmaceuticals industry. The Company sales pharmaceutical products and medical goods on both: retail and wholesale market. Farmatsiya OAO distributes its products to its own drugstores, as well as to other drugstore chains and consumers from Ulyanovsk Oblast and Mordovia. The Company also offers paid medical services at its own medical and diagnostic center Eskulap. Farmatsiya OAO operates through a network of approximately 123 drugstores. The Company is active domestically, mainly on the Penza city and Penza Oblast. Farmatsiya OAO has 13 subsidiaries. As of September 30, 2014, the Company's major shareholder was INTERMEDFARM OOO.
