Excelsior Medical Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,608.893 million compared to TWD 1,593.131 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 100.888 million compared to TWD 106.887 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 144.065 million compared to TWD 110.546 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.12 compared to TWD 0.86 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 4,753.392 million compared to TWD 4,711.336 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 363.872 million compared to TWD 342.429 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 399.633 million compared to TWD 340.546 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 3.12 compared to TWD 2.66 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 3.1 compared to TWD 2.65 a year ago.
EXCELSIOR MEDICAL CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the distribution, maintenance and leasing of medical equipment and supplies. The Companyâs principal products include artificial kidneys, hemodialysis blood tubing sets and epidural needles, dialysis liquid medicines and powder medicines, dialysis machines, human erythropoietin, surgery consumable materials, blood bags, plasma replacement machines and beauty medical equipment, among others. The Company is also involved in the production and sales of self-owned soybean milk machines, as well as household air fresheners under the brand name of Coway.
