Delft, January 10, 2014 - The European Commission has decided that it will maintain the formal deadline of the 1st of February 2014 for the transition to SEPA. However, an additional period of 6 months has been granted in which banks are allowed to accept the currently used payment  procedures. Several organizations involved in the introduction of SEPA across Europe are investigating the consequences of this decision.

Exact has supported both the current standards as well as the SEPA standards for some time now and we strongly recommend to our customers that they do not postpone the migration. Jarno van Hurne, Product Marketing Director: "Payments are a necessity for the existence of every company. The best way to ensure this process runs as it should is a finished SEPA migration."

As soon as more information is available it will be published on our website.
