Ever-Glory International Group, Inc. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was USD 113.326 million compared to USD 125.480 million a year ago. Operating loss was USD 1.169 million compared to operating Income of USD 3.954 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 1.076 million compared to net income of USD 3.316 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was USD 0.07 compared to basic earnings per share of USD 0.22 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was USD 278.598 million compared to USD 306.806 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 1.602 million compared to USD 8.528 million a year ago. Net income was USD 260,000 compared to USD 6.907 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was USD 0.02 compared to USD 0.47 a year ago.

The Company mainly operates through two segments. The Wholesale segment is mainly engaged in wholesale-channel sales made principally to domestically and internationally recognized brands, and department stores located throughout Europe, the U.S., Japan and the People's Republic of China (PRC). The segment focus on well-known, middle-to-high end casual wear, sportswear, and outerwear brands. The Retail segment is mainly engaged in retail-channel sales directly to consumers through retail stores located throughout the PRC as well as sales via online stores at Tmall, Dangdang mall, JD.com, VIP.com and others.
