Evans Bancorp, Inc. announced that Kimberley A. Minkel and Christina P. Orsi have been nominated to serve on its Board of Directors. They will be included on the ballot in the company’s proxy to be mailed to shareholders on March 22, 2018. Ms. Minkelis President and Executive Director of the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) and is responsible for managing a transportation system including light rail, bus, paratransit, and two airports within Western New York. Mrs. Orsi is Associate Vice President of the Office of Economic Development for the University at Buffalo (UB). Prior to joining UB, Mrs. Orsi was the Executive Director of the Regional Economic Development Council and Regional Director for Western New York for the Empire State Development Corporation. Mrs. Orsi serves on the boards of 43North, Catholic Charities, Excelsior Growth Fund, Invest Buffalo/Niagara, and The Racial Equity Roundtable.
