Esker announces the interconnection of its platform with that of Sovos, another e-invoicing solutions provider, 'a major step in their efforts to become government-approved "PDPs" (Plateformes de Dématérialisation Partenaires)'.

From September 2026 in France, four million companies will have to be able to receive domestic electronic invoices, and the 6,000 largest companies will have to issue and declare their transactions electronically.

Esker and Sovos will each operate their own PDP platform to service their customers' transactions under French law. They are also collaborating internationally to ensure joint business process automation and tax compliance.
