Item 8.01 Other Events On May 18, 2023, Equity Lifestyle Properties, Inc. (referred to herein as the "Company," "we," "us," and "our") issued a news release announcing the passing of Samuel Zell, the Chairman of our Board of Directors. Consistent with the Company's long-standing succession plans, the Board of Directors named Thomas Heneghan to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors effective immediately.
