Equiniti : EQ Named a ‘Diversity Leader’ In European FT Survey

The survey looked at how employees perceive their companies' inclusiveness or their efforts to promote various aspects of diversity. This included gender balance, openness to all forms of sexual orientation, race and ethnicity, disability and age. Out of the 15,000 companies assessed, 850 made it to the final list of 'Diversity Leaders'. More than 100,000 employees were surveyed from a number of countries including Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain and the UK.

Recent EQ initiatives to support diversity and inclusion include signing the Audliss pledge for Black inclusion in 2020, introducing a market-leading maternity package, partnering with Stonewall and building our D & I Networks.

Head of EQ's Diversity & Inclusion Council, Amy Madden said: 'To be recognised in the FT's survey is testament to the commitment of many colleagues to diversity and inclusion, including the passion and hard work of our networks. We have more work to do, and look forward to progressing this agenda in 2021. We know that a more diverse business, is a stronger business, and I want to recognise everyone who has contributed to a culture at EQ that is open and inclusive.
