Mirchi EBITDA grows 22.8%; Revenues sluggish
Mumbai, November 1, 2017:
Entertainment Network (India) Ltd, the operator of India's #1 FM radio channel Radio Mirchi, today announced its results for the quarter ended September 30, 2017.
The Company posted a total revenue of Rs. 125.7 crores during the quarter compared to Rs.129.6 crores in Q2FY17. EBITDA during the quarter was Rs 28.4 crores, up 22.8%. PAT was Rs.6.0 crores for the quarter ended September 30, 2017.
Commenting on the results, Mr. Prashant Panday, MD & CEO, ENIL, said: 'It's been a tough quarter with GST related disruptions affecting all media businesses. July and August were severely affected. September saw a smart, albeit temporary, recovery on the back of an early festive season. We expect conditions to improve in the 4th quarter. We remain focused on increasing our listenership, improving our non-radio business profitability and strengthening our second brand, Mirchi Love'
