At Energomashspetsstal, the equipment for the 4 plant unit of the Indian nuclear power plant Kudankulam was completed and prepared for shipping. In total, in accordance with contract, 361 products for 3 and 4 plant units of the Indian nuclear power plant were produced at EMSS. The overall weight of procurements under this contract was 3 952 tons. The participation of EMSS in such a large-scale project once again confirms the high level of PJSC's 'Energomashspetsstal' production.

[Attachment] Control over the production of this important order for EMSS took place directly with the participation of representatives of the Indian Atomic Energy Corporation (ICAEL). During the work on the production of parts for the vessel equipment of the Kudankulam NPP, several dozens of semifinished metallurgical products for the steam generator, the pressurizer, the main circulation pipeline (RCP), the main circulating pump unit (RCP Set) and several dozens of products for the 3rd and 4th plant units of the Indian nuclear power plant were manufactured at EMSS. All parts were passed for a full production cycle at the enterprise, including steelmaking, forging, heat treatment and machining.

Acceptance committee of the latest blanks for the Indian nuclear power plant was conducted by the customer's representative - Assistant Superintending Engineer ICAEL Pardip Jamb. The expert personally checked the compliance of the manufactured blanks with the requirements of regulatory documents and took part in the acceptance of products manufactured at EMSS. He was inspected four bottoms with a mass of 20.6 tons each and a cast spacer for the RCP Set with a mass of 103 tons. The witness point was completed successfully. It is planned that the last blanks will be sent to the customer before the end of the month. The order was executed in full and on time.

Kudankulam NPP is a nuclear power plant under construction located in India in the south of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is built since 2002. This most important for the country's power project uses the most advanced nuclear technologies and takes into account the specific features of the climate in which the nuclear power plant is built and will be operated. Kudankulam NPP is the only imported mega-project, which to a wide extent solves the problem of power shortage in the country.
