Eli Lilly has hired Melissa Seymour as executive vice president of global quality, plucking the executive from Bristol Myers Squibb.

Eli Lilly on Tuesday said Seymour, who will also serve on its executive committee, joins the Indianapolis company on July 22 to succeed Johna Norton, who earlier this year announced plans to retire.

Seymour joined Bristol Myers as chief quality officer in late 2022 after serving in the same post at Biogen.
