EIH Limited announced earnings results for the third quarter ended December 31, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced total revenue was INR 1,947.8 million compared to INR 5,341.3 million a year ago. Net loss was INR 557.3 million compared to net income of INR 950.6 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was INR 0.91 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of INR 1.64 a year ago. For the nine months, total revenue was INR 3,242 million compared to INR 12,435.2 million a year ago. Net loss was INR 3,208.4 million compared to net income of INR 1,209 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was INR 5.43 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of INR 2.09 a year ago.
EIH Limited is an India-based luxury hospitality company. The Company is primarily engaged in owning and managing luxury hotels and cruisers under the luxury Oberoi and Trident brands. The Company is also engaged in flight catering, airport restaurants, project management and corporate air charters. The Company's hotel services include accommodation, food and beverage and other services provided by hotel, inns, resorts, holiday homes, restaurants and caterers, among others. Its other services include shop licensing, management and marketing, laundry, spa, guest transfers, membership, loyalty program and other allied services. The Company owns and operates hotels, which include The Oberoi, Mumbai; The Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur; The Oberoi, New Delhi; The Oberoi Vanyavilas, Ranthambhore; The Oberoi, Bengaluru; Trident, Nariman Point, Mumbai; The Oberoi Grand, Kolkata, and Trident, Bandra Kurla, Mumbai. It owns and manages Maidens Hotel in New Delhi. Its Oberoi One is a loyalty program.
