The Fund's fiscal year ended on October 31, 2012.
For the three months ended October 31, 2012, the Fund had net investment income of $3,500,074 ($0.241 per share). For the year ended October 31, 2012, the Fund had net investment income of $20,408,846 ($1.406 per share). In comparison, for the three months ended October 31, 2011, the Fund had net investment income of $640,562 ($0.044 per share). For the year ended October 31, 2011, the Fund had net investment income of $20,715,638 ($1.427 per share).
Net realized and unrealized gains for the three months ended October 31, 2012 were $18,045,877 ($1.237 per share) and net realized and unrealized gains for the year ended October 31, 2012 were $21,634,206 ($1.484 per share). In comparison, net realized and unrealized losses for the three months ended October 31, 2011 were $28,484,895 ($1.956 per share) and net realized and unrealized losses for the year ended October 31, 2011 were $15,726,752 ($1.077 per share).
On October 31, 2012, net assets of the Fund were $325,527,775. The net asset value per share on October 31, 2012 was $22.42 based on 14,519,257 shares outstanding. In comparison, on October 31, 2011, net assets of the Fund were $303,817,491. The net asset value per share on October 31, 2011 was $20.93 based on 14,519,257 shares outstanding.
