(Alliance News) - doValue Spa announced Friday that its chief executive officer, Andrea Mangoni, has resigned.

Mangoni will leave on April 27, when the company's shareholders' meeting will be held, to "pursue new professional opportunities," as the company stated.

"The board of directors expresses strong appreciation for the great competence and total dedication with which Andrea Mangoni has led the group from the company's IPO in 2017 to the present, through changing market conditions. The board has activated the relevant internal procedures aimed at initiating the succession process for the role of CEO," explained doValue.

Mangoni will not be entitled to severance pay, and the number of shares held will be disclosed when he leaves office.
