DKS Co. Ltd. (TSE:4461) concluded a contract to acquire remaining 20% stake in Elexcel Co., Ltd from Inabata & Co.,Ltd. (TSE:8098) on March 29, 2018. DKS Co. Ltd. decided to carry out the absorption-merger of its consolidated subsidiary, Elexcel Co., Ltd. and will hold 100% stake in Elexcel Co., Ltd. For the year ended March 30, 2017, Elexcel Co., Ltd had net assets of ¥362 million, total assets of ¥375 million, sales of ¥158 million, operating profits of ¥18 million and net income of ¥22 million. The transaction is resolved by the Board of DKS Co. Ltd. The transaction execution is expected to be completed by July 1, 2018.
