This announcement is made by Directel Holdings Limited (the "Company", and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") pursuant to Rule 17.10(2) of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on the Growth Enterprise Market of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the "GEM Listing Rules") and the Inside Information Provisions (as defined under the GEM Listing Rules) under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571, Laws of Hong Kong).

Based on the information currently available and the preliminary review of the unaudited consolidated management accounts of the Group for the six months ended

30 June 2017 by the board (the "Board") of directors (the "Directors") of the Company, the Board wishes to inform the shareholders of the Company and potential investors that it is anticipated that the Group would record an approximately 50% to 60% decrease in loss for the six months ended 30 June 2017 as compared to the loss of the Group for the corresponding period in 2016. The anticipated decrease in loss was primarily attributable to (i) no provision for impairment loss in respect of trade receivables was made for the six months ended 30 June 2017 and (ii) the Group anticipates a foreign exchange gain for the six months ended 30 June 2017 as compared to a foreign exchange loss amounted to approximately HK$2,103,000 for the corresponding period in 2016.

As the Company is still in the course of preparing its results for the six months ended 30 June 2017, the information contained in this announcement is only a preliminary assessment by the Board based on the information currently available and the unaudited consolidated management accounts of the Group, which have not been reviewed or audited by the Company's auditors or has not been confirmed by the Company's audit committee. The overall financial results of the Group for the six months ended 30 June 2017 will only be ascertained when all the relevant results and corresponding treatments are finalised. The results of the Group for the six months ended 30 June 2017 are scheduled to be approved and announced by the Board on or before 8 August 2017. Shareholders of the Company and potential investors are advised to read the interim results announcement of the Company when it is published.
