Presented during the 'Digital Magics Founders Meeting' the latest results of the incubator and the development of the innovation platform for the DIGITAL MADE IN ITALY with Talent Garden and Tamburi Investment Partners, with the goal of 100 startups in 2018

Milan, October 15 2015 - During the Digital Magics Founders Meeting - an event reserved for the incubator network - Digital Magics, venture incubator listed on AIM Italia (symbol: DM), shared their development plans with the teams of the founders of the investee startups.

Digital Magics portfolio consists of 48 investments in digital startups, including 26 recorded in the Register of Innovative Startups. Agreements with 4 additional startups to enter the incubation program are in the process of closing. Up to June 2015 Digital Magics has invested 18.2 million Euro, which have been accompanied by investments of 7.8 million Euro by third parties. The total value of disposals (exits) is about 5 million.

For 2015 the aggregate turnover of Digital Magics portfolio is expected to grow by 74% (approximately

32 million Euro) compared to 2014, with a pro rata of about 30%.

The incubator supports talents for the acceleration of innovative startups with high growth potential and high technological value. The most promising sectors within which Digital Magics is focused on are: Made in Italy (food, fashion, design), fintech, traveltech, Internet of Things, digital media and marketing, enterprise services, with the goal of 100 investee startups by 2018.

The new plan boosts the platform DIGITAL MADE IN ITALY, founded thanks to a partnership created by Digital Magics along with Talent Garden (TAG) and Tamburi Investment Partners (TIP), which aims to create the largest hub of Italian innovation in the development and acceleration of digital startups and the digital transformation of excellent enterprises in the country.

Digital Magics supports TAG in the development of 50 new areas for co-working in Italy and Europe. In addition, the incubator is strengthening services for startups and scale-ups, not only with access to the entire network of Talent Garden in Italy and Europe, but also involving the startups directly in the programs of Open Innovation of enterprises, extending acceleration services up to pre-IPO phase and expanding Digital Magics Angel Network throughout the country. In the course of 2016, 10 new programs of local acceleration will be active, with as many team members, in major Italian cities.

Digital Magics has also recently launched new services of Open Innovation for enterprises: information services, strategic consulting and training for the top management; business support services for investments in the digital sector (scenario analysis, scouting for new talent and technology, programs of corporate venture capital and acceleration programs of spinoffs); production of innovative technological applications created by startups.
