Pursuant to the relevant regulations of the Cyprus Stock Exchange and of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission and in order to better inform shareholders and investors in general, Demetra Investment Public Ltd. announced that, based on the indications to date, the Group is expected to register profits for the first half of 2017 compared to the losses of the corresponding period of 2016. The profit mainly arises from the Group's investment portfolio and, in particular, from the investments in titles traded on the Cyprus Stock Exchange. Interest receivable is expected to decrease compared to the corresponding period of 2016 due to the decrease in interest rates. As regards the Group's investments in the land and property development sector, these are expected to register profits at approximately the same levels as in the corresponding period of 2016. This profit arises from rents receivable.
