Demetra Investment Public Limited provided earnings guidance for the year ending December 31, 2016. For the year, the company is expected to register losses. The above estimate does not include the revaluations of the group's investments in property, which are not, however, expected to change the estimate of loss. The loss arises from the group's investment portfolio and, in particular, from the investments in stock exchange titles, mainly from the investment in Hellenic Bank. The above portfolio has registered significant unrealised losses due to the negative course of the Cyprus Stock Exchange. Interest receivable is expected to decrease compared to 2015 due to the decrease in interest rates. As regards the portfolio invested in the land and property development sector, rents receivable are at approximately the same levels as in the previous year, but the final figures for the above portfolio will be determined after the inclusion of property revaluations.
