NoemaLife SpA announced that its French subsidiary Medasys has won a EUR 1.5 million (USD 1.9 million) deal to deliver an electronic patient record system for the hospitals in the Ariege department in southwestern France. The contract envisages the implementation of an electronic patient record system which Medasys has developed for the five hospitals in the Ariege department: Centre Hospitalier Intercommunal du Val d'Ariège in Saint-Jean de Verges, Centre Hospitalier du Pays d'Olmes in Lavelanet, Centre Hospitalier Ariège Couserans, Hôpital local Jules Rousse in Tarascon-sur-Ariege, and Centre Hospitalier Saint-Louis in Ax-les-Thermes. The new system will allow the five hospitals, which manage more than 1,000 beds, to have a shared system to manage the wards, imaging, prescription medicines and hospital charts.
