Daiken Co. Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended November 2014. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of JPY 7,854 million compared to JPY 7,536 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 410 million compared to JPY 451 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 405 million compared to JPY 456 million a year ago. Net income was JPY 257 million or JPY 43.77 per basic share compared to JPY 264 million or JPY 44.99 per basic share a year ago.
For the year ending February 2015, the company expects net sales of JPY 11,000 million, operating income of JPY 820 million, ordinary income of JPY 820 million and net income of JPY 410 million or JPY 69.79 per share.
DAIKEN CO.,LTD. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of building hardware, exterior building materials and exterior products. The Company operates through two business segments. The Building Related Products segment is engaged in the manufacture, sale and installation of exterior building materials, interior building materials, as well as home delivery boxes, door hangers, and household sliding door closers. The Real Estate Rental segment is engaged in the operation of rental apartments for singles and rental stores. Exterior building materials include shades, aluminum drainers, handrails for shades, exterior blindfolded panels. Interior building materials include inspection doors, pits, gratings, stainless steel entrance wiping mats, ceiling lighting louvers, aluminum pipes, curtain rails.
