Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the nine months ended December 31, 2018. For the period, the company reported net sales of JPY 1,046,366 million against JPY 1,050,959 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 36,149 million against JPY 32,603 million a year ago. Net income attributable to shareholders of parent company was JPY 25,427 million against loss of JPY 3,208 million a year ago. Net income per share was JPY 84.29 against loss per share of JPY 10.57 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was JPY 84.26.
The company provided consolidated earnings guidance for the year ending March 31, 2019. For the year, the company expects net sales of JPY 1,420,000 million; operating income of JPY 47,000 million; net income attributable to shareholders of parent company of JPY 28,000 million and net income per share of JPY 92.80.

- manufacturing of electronic components (13.7%): semiconductors components, photolithography masks, projection screens, protection filters for screens, color printers components, etc.;
- production of beverages (4%).
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: Japan (83%), Asia (10.6%) and other (5.4%).
