Top CWT Executive Named

EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2013 - Logistics Winner

SINGAPORE, October 22, 2013 - CWT Limited ("CWT" or the "Group"), a leading solutions provider of integrated logistics and supply chain management, is pleased to announce that its Group CEO Loi Pok Yen has been selected as the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2013 - Logistics Winner. Loi is one of three category award winners this year who were chosen from a pool of over 50 nominees by an independent judging panel. Winners were chosen based on their merits in fulfilling six judging criteria: entrepreneurial spirit, financial performance, strategic direction, community/global impact, innovation and personal integrity/influence. One overall winner will be named EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2013 Singapore at an awards gala next month and go on to represent Singapore at the international stage to vie for the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Loi's entrepreneurial spirit has been instrumental in transforming the CWT Group into a global enterprise and a Forbes Asia Fab 50 company - CWT is the only Singapore firm which was ranked in the latest Forbes Asia Fab 50 list published in its September 2013 issue. Since he took over the helm, the CWT Group has grown more than ten folds in market capitalization.
Loi became a board director and assumed the position of CWT Group CEO in January 2005 after privately-owned logistics company C & P Holdings acquired CWT. He leads the executive team in strengthening the Group's businesses and market competitiveness for the long term success of the CWT Group. Prior to joining CWT, Loi was responsible for the construction of warehouses and running the logistics business operations at C & P. From 1995 to 1997, he helped oversee and build Myanmar International Terminals Thilawa (MITT), Myanmar's largest port.
