Employee Spotlight: Bill Bacon

Bill Bacon joined Chelsea State Bank (CSB) last month as the Vice President of Treasury Management Sales & Operations Officer. With an extensive professional background in banking, Bill was a natural fit for this role! He comes to us after working his way through the ranks at Huntington National Bank, where he worked for 17 years.

"Chelsea State Bank really cares about the community and local businesses," said Bill. "We are involved and invested, and that makes for a strong culture - one that cares about the people and the community."

Born and raised in Byron, Bill has spent the last 23 years in Howell. Bill and his girlfriend, Mary, have two daughters - Makynna (15) and Jacsyn (10). They also have a beloved mini goldendoodle, Mylah who is 18 months old.

When Bill isn't at the office, he enjoys camping, golfing, cooking, grilling and loves traveling. While traveling, he enjoys checking out the local cuisine.

Making a difference in people's lives is a huge contributing factor as to why Bill enjoys working at CSB. "Every day I have an opportunity to make a positive difference in people's lives," said Bill. "I started my career in banking, working in the branches helping clients one at a time. I quickly saw the powerful impact of helping businesses and how their success contributes directly to the economic climate within the community."
