A team of surveyors from Countrywide plc donned Santa hats and hi-vis jackets for a charity walk in London, which raised £750 for the 'Walking Home for Christmas' campaign.

Surveyors from across London and the South of England came together to take part in this Christmas campaign and walk between Countrywide's head office on Oxford Street and a venue in Soho.

The 'Walking Home for Christmas' campaign is supporting veterans who don't have a home to walk to and is an initiative set up by 'The Walking for the Wounded' charity which aims to retrain and re-skill wounded service men and women, and support them in finding new careers outside the Military.

Commenting on the fundraising event Geoffrey Garfoot, London Regional Director, Countrywide Surveying Services, said:

'This Christmas we wanted to show our support for the service men and women who put their lives on the line for us and we were proud to support the Walking Homes for Christmas campaign and to raise £750 for this very worthy cause.'
