Hidefuji Co., Ltd. agreed to acquire an additional 28.03% stake in Cosmos Pharmaceutical Corporation (TSE:3349) from Masateru Uno, President and Representative Director of Cosmos, and Noriko Uno, employee of Cosmos, on August 31, 2012. Hidefuji will acquire 5.55 million shares of Cosmos. Masateru Uno will sell 20.44% stake and Noriko Uno will sell 7.59% stake in Cosmos. Post completion, Masateru Uno, Noriko Uno, and Hidefuji will hold 3.03%, 3.03%, and 33.08% stake in Cosmos respectively. The transaction is expected to close on September 3, 2012.
