CoreCivic's Annual Charity Golf Classic Raises $565,000 Event supports 32 Tennessee charities serving former offenders, victims of crime, and youth
BRENTWOOD, Tenn. - Oct. 8, 2021 - CoreCivic held its annual Charity Golf Classic on Oct. 7 at the Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, Tennessee, marking the event's 30th anniversary. The Charity Golf Classic raised $565,000 this year - funds that will go to a group of 32 non-profit organizations in Tennessee that help support formerly incarcerated individuals, victims of crime and abuse, and underserved youth. More than $6.5 million has been raised for charity since the event's inception in 1991.
"This event has allowed us to serve the non-profit community for 30 years now, and we are thrilled to have another opportunity to give back again this year," said Tony Grande, CoreCivic Charitable Foundation Chairman.
