CSC (NYSE: CSC) today announced that eight self-insured organizations from a variety of industries have either licensed RISKMASTER, a leading independent system for claims and risk management, extended existing licenses or integrated additional components and functionality into their existing RISKMASTER software during the first half of CSC's fiscal year 2012. The organizations, which represent foodservice, real estate, education, construction equipment, healthcare and third-party claims management, will use the software to manage and analyze claims; track incidents; evaluate injuries; control legal costs; identify potential fraud; and automate policy administration.

Among the new licensees is Arby's Restaurant Group, Inc., Atlanta, the second largest quick-service sandwich chain in the United States. Additional signers include a Fortune 500 provider of equipment and financial products to the construction industry, a leading property and casualty claims management company and a top-50 apartment management firm. Those extending their licenses are a major university hospital in Illinois and one of Ohio's leading nonprofit healthcare organizations. Two others, the Pennsylvania School Boards Association Insurance Trust of Mechanicsburg, Pa., which provides risk management and other services to association members, and a university hospital, have licensed CSC's Legal Solutions Suite as extensions to their RISKMASTER implementations.

The organizations use the software to self-administer workers' compensation, professional liability and short-term disability claims, and track risk management information such as policies and exposures. The integrated, browser-based software consolidates multiple business functions -- including policy administration and claims, risk and legal management and analytics -- into one cohesive solution to manage claims and provide management with accurate, up-to-date business and market data.

"With more than 3,600 restaurants system-wide, we need to record all events, whether or not they turn into claims, so we were looking for an integrated product suite," said Melissa Nuss, senior director of Lease Management and Risk Management at Arby's. "We chose RISKMASTER because it provides the flexibility to record all events and has all of the functionality we need, including links to third-party business applications."

"RISKMASTER unifies risk, claims and policy data to empower risk management professionals, regardless of industry," said Jeffery Schwalk, president of CSC's Property and Casualty Insurance Division. "CSC's comprehensive risk and claims solutions equip companies with the tools and capabilities they need to effectively address workers' compensation, identify fraud, improve litigation outcomes and significantly elevate efficiency across the board."
