Compania Nacional de Telefonos Telefonica del Sur SA (CNT Telefonica del Sur) is a Chile-based company principally engaged in the telecommunications sector. The Company's activities include the installation, exploitation and management of fixed-line and mobile telephony services, pre-paid telephone cards, broadband Internet access, pay-per-view (PPV), digital wireless television, data transmission services, as well as the provision of comprehensive security services, among others. The Company also operates within thenetwork of regional offices located in Concepcion, Temuco, Panguipulli, Valdivia, Osorno, La Union, Puerto Montt, Puerto Varas, Castro, Ancud, Quellon, Coyhaique and Puerto Aysen. As of December 31, 2011, it owned two subsidiaries Compania de Telefonos de Coyhaique SA and Blue Two Chile SA. In addition, GTD Grupo Teleductos SA was the Company's majority shareholder with 96.37% of the interest. In August 2014, the Company has acquired 99.9993% stakes in Plug and Play Net SA.
