FITZGERALD, Ga. (AP) _ Colony Bankcorp Inc. (CBAN) on Friday reported fourth-quarter profit of $4.9 million.

The bank, based in Fitzgerald, Georgia, said it had earnings of 52 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 44 cents per share.

The bank holding company posted revenue of $24.5 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $23.2 million, topping Street forecasts.

For the year, the company reported profit of $11.8 million, or $1.24 per share. Revenue was reported as $79.5 million.

Colony Bankcorp shares have declined almost 5% since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen 10% in the last 12 months.
