Belo Horizonte, November 18, 2015 - Kroton Educational S.A. ('Kroton' or 'Company') - (BM&FBovespa: KROT3; OTCQX: KROTY) - in compliance with CVM Instruction 358/2002, as amended, announces to its shareholders, investors and the general market that it won Best Global Program of Investor Relations by a Small/Mid-cap Company (market capitalization of up to US$7.5 billion) from IR Magazine at a ceremony held yesterday in New York City.
This is the first time that a Brazilian company has won the award, which further underscores its importance not only to the Company, but also to the country's capital markets.
Considering all companies regardless of their market capitalization, Kroton placed fourth in the Global Top 50 Gold and figured among the runners-up in the awards for best CEO, CFO and IRO.
The recognitions are among the worlds most important in the field of investor relations, transform Kroton into a global reference and demonstrate its dedicated efforts in communication, transparency and best practices in the financial community over recent years.
