Cofinimmo reinforces its German team

For more than 35 years, Cofinimmo has been investing in, developing, and managing investment properties. Attentive to societal changes, Cofinimmo continuously aims to offer high quality care, living and working spaces that meet new expectations ('Caring, Living and Working - Together in Real Estate').

Given this expertise, Cofinimmo continues to solidify its leadership in European healthcare real estate.

The Group has been operating in Germany since 2014 and holds 31 assets in this country, mainly residential and care centres, but also psychiatric and rehabilitation clinics, accounting for a total fair value of approximately 400 million EUR.

To reinforce its growth in Germany and its proximity to the healthcare networks, the Group has established a new subsidiary, 'Cofinimmo Dienstleistungs-GmbH', based in Frankfurt. This company will advise Cofinimmo in developing and managing its healthcare real estate portfolio in Germany.

Mr Marc-Philippe Goldschmidt, 39 years old, will manage 'Cofinimmo Dienstleistungs-GmbH' as of January 2019. He was in charge of corporate M&A at PATRIZIA Immobilien AG until recently, after a career in mergers-acquisitions at Jones Lang LaSalle and UBS.
