Clipper Logistics plc has announced it has agreed a contract with Marks and Spencer which will see the retail focussed solutions provider take a key role in the M&S returns management operation.

Under this new contract Clipper will consolidate stock returned from stores, as well as online returns received direct from customers, to ensure products are in an appropriate condition for future resale, and customer refunds are processed in a timely fashion. The contract will be serviced from Clipper's e-fulfilment facility in Ollerton.

Tony Mannix, Chief Executive Officer of Clipper said: 'We've worked with Marks & Spencer for a number of years, and I'm delighted that they've chosen us to partner with them on this comprehensive returns solution. Clipper has made a name for itself as one of the UK's leading value-added logistics solutions providers, with an unparalleled reputation in retail supply chain, and I look forward to helping Marks & Spencer achieve their goals.'

Paul Burns, Head of Operations at Marks and Spencer said: 'Creating a seamless experience for our customers is really important. We look forward to working closely with Clipper to provide an efficient and convenient service that works for our customers and our business'.
