Chinese Universe Publishing and Media Group Co., Ltd. (SHSE:600373) commences share repurchases on April 24, 2024, under the program mandated by the shareholders in the Extraordinary General Meeting held on February 7, 2024. As per the mandate, the company is authorized to repurchase its own shares for not more than CNY 100 million. The shares will be purchased at a price not exceeding CNY 15 per share. All the shares repurchased this time will be used for cancellation and corresponding reduction of the company?s registered capital. Repurchases will be funded from the company?s own funds. The repurchase program is valid for a period of 12 months from shareholders' approval.
On June 14, 2024, the company adjusted its upper limit on shares repurchase price after the implementation of equity distribution. The company has adjusted repurchase price to CNY 14.22 per share.
