Net Generation of Subsidiary Power Plants

in the First Nine Months of 2019 Decreased by 4.8%

China Resources Power Holdings Company Limited ("CR Power", stock code: 0836) today announced that total net generation of subsidiary power plants in September 2019 decreased by 0.5% to 11,731,944MWh from 11,795,704MWh for the same period of 2018. Total net generation of subsidiary power plants for the first nine months of 2019 decreased by 4.8% to 109,714,415MWh compared to 115,256,327MWh for the same period last year. (Note: The above generation volume does not include the volume sold to independent third parties.)

On a same plant basis, total net generation of subsidiary coal-fired power plants for the first nine months of 2019 decreased by 7.7% compared to the same period of 2018. Power plants located in Hubei recorded 10.3% increase year on year. Power plants located in Henan, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Hebei and Other provinces recorded 18.1%, 10.6%, 7.1%, 3.8% and 9.7% decreases year on year, respectively.
