On June 21, SINOMACH Chairman Ren Hongbin, accompanied by CMEC Chairman Sun Bai and CMEC Vice President Wang Hong, paid an inspection visit to the construction site of the CMEC-undertaken KOSTOLAC-B power plant (Phase 1) and gave directions. Ren was accompanied by project leader Zoran Stanojevic throughout the visit.

Ren inspected the steam turbine room, the central control room and the boiler coal mill of the power plant and Zoran introduced the supplier of the host equipment and the operation of the power plant. He also visited the construction site of the ongoing gas desulfurization system, talked with construction workers and asked them in detail about the construction progress and the completion time of the funnels.

Ren also visited the construction site of the second phase of the project.

During his visit, Ren said that the power plant is the first large-scale overseas project of CMEC and even SINOMACH in Europe and urged CMEC to build it into a model project, based on which make innovations and expand the market. Meanwhile, Ren required CMEC to pay attention to details and give high priority to cultural communications in carrying out overseas projects. He said that integrity and quality must be placed in the first place so as to maintain a good image of Chinese enterprises. He urged CMEC to earnestly implement the second phase of the project so as to deliver results that the owner is satisfied with. Ren's instructions greatly encouraged the employees at the construction site.
