China Machinery Engineering : CMEC Signs an Industry Alliance Agreement with XD Group

On June 27, the signing ceremony for the Industry Alliance Agreementbetween CMEC and China XDGroup Corporation (hereinafter referred to as XDGroup) was held in Xi'an. The signing of the agreement marks the innovative model for the cooperation between the two central enterprises, who will shouldergreater responsibilityin implementingthe Belt and RoadInitiative, promoting the upgrade of the domestic mechanical and electrical manufacturing industryandpropellingChinesemanufacturing to go overseas.

During the activity, the two sides reviewed theircooperation history and development status, exchanged views on the opportunities and challenges facing them under the Belt and RoadInitiative, andreached a broad consensuson promoting deep cooperation,collaborative innovationand win-wincooperation with the industryalliance model.

Witnessed by CMEC President Zhang Chun and XDGroupGeneralManager Zhang Yalin, Fang Yanshui, Director of the IndustryAlliance Committeeand Vice President of CMEC, signed an industry alliance agreementwith Pei Zhenjiang, General Manager of China XDElectric Co., Ltd.

President Zhang Chun pointed out that formingtheindustrial allianceis a new attemptbased on the cooperationhistory of the two sides.CMEC has always beenregarding 'equippingthe world with Chinesemachinery manufacturing'as its duty, and has been carryingout a lot of cooperationwith XDGroup's affiliated enterprises, so the cooperation of the two sides will have bright prospectsbased on theirsolid cooperationfoundation. Under the principle of 'complementing each other's advantages, sharingresources, collaborative innovationand win-wincooperation', the two members of the Industry Alliancewill carry out close cooperationin the market, products, research and development, training, investment and other fields. He said that through the new model of the industry allianceand based on their ownstrategy and market positioning, the two sides would carry out in-depth cooperation in specific markets, conduct researchin specificareas and strategic investment, and make strategic investmentin specific countries, which will bring all-aroundpositive impacts totheir development andinnovation, strategic layouts, market developmentand even corporate culture.

President Zhang Chunalso put forward clear expectations and requirementsfor the development direction andmission of the Industry Alliance. He pointed out that the members of the Industry Allianceshould carefullystudy the new patterns, new directionsof technology, new modelsof capital, newdevelopment areas indomestic and overseasmarkets, shoulderresponsibilitybravely and cooperate sincerelyto create a new future for the development of the Industry Alliance.

XDGroupGeneral Manager Zhang Yalin expressed his gratitudeto CMEC for its long support and assistance toXDGroup. He said that XDGroupand CMEC both belong to the mechanical industrial systemand have a long historical origin. CMCE has encouraged Chinese enterprises to go overseas through cooperation in promoting the implementation ofthe Belt and RoadInitiative, which has fully embodiedCMEC'sstrategic thinkingandmade important contributionsto enhancing the international competitivenessof China's equipment manufacturing industry.
