The board of directors of China Galaxy Securities Co., Ltd. received a resignation letter from Mr. Liu Feng on 24 January 2018. Mr. Liu Feng tendered his resignation as an independent director of the company, the chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, and a member of each of the Strategy and Development Committee, the Audit Committee and the Risk Management Committee due to his intention to focus on his other work commitments and engagements.
China Galaxy Securities Co., Ltd. is an investment holding company mainly engaged in the securities brokerage business. Along with subsidiaries, the Company operates its business through eight segments: the Securities Brokerage segment, the Proprietary Trading and Other Securities Trading Services segment, the Investment Banking segment, the Asset Management segment, the Futures Brokerage segment, the Overseas Business segment, the Private Equity Investment segment, and Others segment. The Securities Brokerage segment provides securities dealing and broking, margin financing and securities lending.
