ENTERING INTO AN EPC CONTRACT FOR THE 500MW DISTRIBUTED

PHOTOVOLTAIC POWER STATION PROJECT IN EGYPT BY A

SUBSIDIARY OF THE COMPANY

This announcement is made by China Energy Engineering Corporation Limited (the "Company") on a voluntary basis.

The board of directors of the Company (the "Board") is pleased to announce that, recently, China Gezhouba Group Co., Ltd.* (中國葛洲壩集團股份有限公司), a subsidiary of the Company, has entered into an EPC contract for the 500MW distributed photovoltaic power station project in Egypt (the "Project").

The Project is located in multiple locations in Egypt. The scope of work comprises the construction of a new 500MW distributed photovoltaic power station in Egypt, specifically including the design, construction work, equipment procurement, construction and installation, commissioning and supply of spare parts, etc. The contract amount of the Project is approximately USD287.5 million. The contract is valid for a term of 3 years.
