Chikaranomoto Holdings Co. Ltd. reported consolidated and non-consolidated earnings results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2019. For the year, on consolidated basis, the company reported revenue was JPY 27,466 million against JPY 24,451 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 957 million against JPY 905 million a year ago. Income attributable to the company was JPY 615 million or JPY 26.26 per share against JPY 634 million or JPY 27.85 per share a year ago. Earnings per share after adjusting for dilution was JPY 25.45 per share against JPY 26.23 per share a year ago.
For the year, on non-consolidated basis, the company reported revenue was JPY 2,503 million against JPY 2,172 million a year ago. Chikaranomoto Holdings Co Ltd is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the operation of restaurants, as well as the manufacture and sale of ingredients and related products for restaurants. The Company operates in three business segments. The Domestic Store Operation segment is involved in the operation of restaurants under multiple brands such as IPPUDO, RAMEN EXPRESS, GOGYO, Najimatei, PANDA EXPRESS and Inabaudon. The Overseas Store Operation segment is involved in the operation of directly managed restaurants centering on the brand of IPPUDO, as well as the licensing business to local partner companies. The Domestic Sales segment is involved in the manufacture and sale of noodles, cup noodles, soups and seasonings for consumers and restaurants. The Company is also engaged in the overseas product sales business, the consulting business, the franchise business, and the agricultural training business.
