Chia Ta World Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the full year ended December 31, 2018. For the full year, the company announced total revenue was TWD 816.819 million compared to TWD 773.554 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 11.387 million compared to TWD 34.586 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 11.933 million compared to TWD 23.786 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.15 compared to TWD 0.29 a year ago.
Chia Ta World Co., Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacturing, processing and distribution of steel wires and cables. The Company's product portfolio consists of general steel wires, galvanized steel wires, pre-stressed concrete steel wires and strands, pre-stressed concrete steel bars, as well as galvanized and ungalvanized steel wire strands. Its wire and cable products are applied in power cables, telecommunication overhead lines, packaging wires, steel cables, spring beds, shops equipment, bridges, ships, utility poles and others. The Company distributes its products in Taiwan, the rest of Asia, the Americas and other markets.
